Anjelica Huston was an American actor and director. The American actress Anjelica HUston is a director and actress. Anjelica (born at Los Angeles on July 8, 1951) is an American actress known for portraying fierce, independent women that have a cool elegance. Huston is the son of John Huston, a film director (himself the son of actor Walter Huston), and Enrica SOMA. The Huston family moved from California in 1953, and settled in County Wicklow. They then settled at the manor of County Galway. Huston was a part of her growing up years at the isolated estate. Her father was away for long periods working on the film set. Soma was moved to London along with her kids shortly after her departure from him. Huston was a passive student who was more involved in the political chaos that was her age and taking part in demonstrations against atomic bombs and other weapons, quit school in 1968.
